Should Have been notified that I needed to use my credit card at least a week before I had to pick up. I won’t be using enterprise ever again3.2 Poor
Jun 2020
Pros:
Drop off was easyCons:
The first car was so smoky that the family we rented it for, with two young children, could hardly stand the smell. They traded that car in for another one at the coast and that car was dirty (in a pandemic, when the car should have been sanitized) and also smoky.4.0 Mediocre
Jun 2020
Pros:
the pick up / drop off was easyCons:
it was my first time renting vie enterprise and i must say, it was such a disappointment for a few reasons: 1. the car was not clean :( - this is always important, but definitely during covid...but unf full mess inside the car, back seat with candy / sand, and front dash board was frankly really filthy 2. there were signs saying no smoking, yet the car was full of smoke (which we all know lingers and thus was in the car all weekend) 3. there was no washer fluid which we discovered during a long drive in the mountains when we desperately needed it 4. the bright lights malfunctioned often (also not ideal at night amidst windy roads in the mountains) 5. there was Auto Brake warning light pop on a couple of times 6. and finally, during check in - no masks worn (amidst covid) and this paired with how dirty the car was inside, it was just clear that cleanliness and safety (re covid) are not a priority Super disappointed :(. Though this was the cheapest option for a weekend rental, i will happily pay a bit more to another company to receive a different experience. One location in Downtown

Pros:
The desk attendant was extremely nice and helpful. He was very polite and made the process as easy as possible.Cons:
This wasn't budget's fault necessarily but the location in downtown Raleigh, NC is located inside of a hotel (which is fine), and there were not clear indicators on the outside of the building that the rental car desks were located inside.10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
I like how Avis stretched the definition of a "midsize" booking to include a Nissan Sentra. That's very creative.Cons:
Leave lots of extra time to drop a car at the Wilmington (NC) airport. You have to find a parking space, unload your belongings, walk into the airport, and wait at the rental counter. And all of that counts against your return time. If that makes you "late" to return your car, it's an extra $30-50.5.6 Fair

Pros:
No-hassel renting. Quick rental process, pickup, & dropoff.Cons:
Car was filthy. Didn't have time to request a different car so I eventually vacuumed car out myself. Outside was dirty as if it had been driven in a little bit of snow. Called avis 800 # to complained and only offered $20 off future rental.3.6 Poor

Cons:
The Avis representative in Raleigh was one of the worst experiences I've had. He literally left the desk and I didn't know what to do with the keys or car or exactly where to leave them. They were not helpful at all on where to park the car. They really did not do anything at all and I did not get any confirmation that the car with properly taken care of from the Avis Staff in Raleigh2.0 Poor
